This & That

Noah tried out his first "real" meal today...
Rice Cereal...Mmmmm!

Doctor said to wait until 4 months,
but the kid is hungry and still eats every two hours.
He weighs about 16 pounds
and is only 11 weeks old!

Monday, we had a play date with Nathan Stahle, one of Ethan's very best friends!

They played lots of games, which means they got out every toy in the house!

We read stories, which included Gracie's favorite..."Itsy Bitsy Spider"

But the highlight was running around the kitchen/dining room!
That was the most fun:)

Ryal was always about a circle and a half behind them

While we were having fun, Julie LeSueur came over and cut Kaylee's hair after school.
It looks great by the way! Julie does hair at Tantrum Hair Salon and she is awesome!

Noah just chilled most of the afternoon. He's such a good boy!

Gracie LOVES sportin' her Halloween clothes.

This evening she walked around our whole block delivering fliers for our Halloween Carnival.
She made sure to peek in everyone's window and wave to anyone in their driveways.
At the beginning of the night, someone said to her, "bye sweetheart". So that is what she said to everyone we saw! Aren't kids so much fun?
I LOVE being a mom!

And Finally, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISSY!
See you Thursday for lunch!!!

I have to admit that I spent WAY to much time making movies on Jib Jab...it's so addicting! The kids love it! And I also dedicated almost 2 hours last weekend to having Optimus Prime call everyone I know. I am a dork! Tons of fun though. Go to http://www.transformersmovie.com/
You'll have a blast!
So today was the Primary Program in our ward.
Kaylee & Ethan both participated and Kaylee played the prelude music.
Unfortunately, I had to sit up on the stand with Ethan and I also had to say his part for him. But he sang his songs and was proud of himself when it was over. That's what matters! Here is the dress Gracie wore today...and she ran away from me after church and tripped and fell in the street...the dress is now black at the bottom! The last time she ran away from me was after Noah's blessing, she fell in the neighbor's cactus!

How did the Glover's spend
their October Break?
By going on a Pioneer Handcart Trek!
Ethan, Scott & Kaylee
left for the Kimball Stake Pioneer Trek
early Thursday morning
Ethan was totally excited!

And Kaylee LOVED her pioneer dress

Ethan, all ready for the road trip to the trek...

Scott & Brock pulling the handcart, Steve is pushing
Ethan, Zachary, Rylan
Strong muscles!!!These three boys are all 4 years old and are in the same primary class together...they are so cute!

Here is everyone in our Handcart
Julie, Steve, Jeremy & Zachary Skelton
Brittany & Bryce Arguio
Brock, Mason, & Diane Hale
Scott, Kaylee & Ethan Glover

Meanwhile, back at home...

We ordered pizza and pigged out!

Tricia & Chase came over...
(Notice Tricia pretending to share the food...SIKE!)

Oh, newlyweds...so cute!

And of course, we watched THE OFFICE!

Meanwhile, back on the trail...

Kaylee and my mom made breakfast
Rice 'N Apple breakfast...yummy!
Harmony Park, all lined up to go

Ethan was filthy
But he had his sack of flour around his neck
(these were worn to remind everyone how much food the pioneers had to eat everyday)

Then the Mormon Batallion came and took the men away
Scott is not the one with the peace sign, he's behind him!

The women were left to push by themselves...sob, sob!

And it almost killed them!

Well, it almost killed Jamie & Julie
Luckily Zachary was there to revive them!

Thankfully, the ANGELS came to help them out

Back at home...

I was spending QT with the little ones

Friday night, I loaded up the kids and met Tricia & Chase at Oregano's

Ryal showing off his dough snowman!

Gracie & Tricia made all kinds of animals with their dough

And "Boy Howdy", was Chase hungry!

Back on the Handcart Trek...

The kids were playing Cowboys & Indians

Ethan walked 4 or 5 miles each day
Grandma walked with him while dad pushed the Handcart

Everyone came home Saturday morning
It was a very difficult trek, but a wonderful, spiritual experience!

This last picture doesn't have anything to do with the Trek or October Break. I do this weird thing where I take Gracie's picture every Sunday before we go to church
She has so many dresses, she'll never wear them all.
Anyway, this is the one she wore today!

(Sorry, this is the only picture I have of the two of them together...Miss Arizona Pageant!)
They'd love to hear from you!

Scott & Jheri...
Happy Anniversay Slumber Party! So, Scott & I celebrated our Anniversary in September, and instead of going out to dinner, or buying gifts, or doing the things we would normally do, we booked a 1200 sq. ft. hotel room at the Wigwam in Phoenix and had a little overnight with the kids. It was so much fun. We ate yummy food, rented movies, jumped on the bed...everything you do at slumber parties!

All the kids took turns playing "wash the dishes"...

"WASSUP!"
Even Noah had his turn...he had fun too!

Kaylee brought her light show ipod speaker, and we turned off all of the lights and had a dance party...everybody got down...including Scott!

Ryal was a dancing machine

Kaylee showing off some of her break dancing moves

Scott showing off his

This was Ethan's attempt...not too bad!

Jumping on the bed was the highlight of the night

ICE CREAM...everyone's favorite thing to eat before bedtime!

BATHTIME!
The kids didn't have any toys for the bath, so I gave them the mini shampoo and conditioner bottles to play with in the tub. Well this was a jet jacuzzi tub and those jets were strong! I turned my back and within seconds this is what happened!

It made such a mess...it was awesome!

Gracie couldn't even get out...

There was a fun playground right across from our room.
We played soccer and let the kids run around.

We rented bikes and rode all over and around the golf course...
it was such a pretty place!

Ethan finally learned how to ride a bike!

They had an awesome pool with a fun water slide
This was Kaylee being cool because there were some "hot" teenage boys working the BBQ

SNUGGIE!

Ryal & Ethan
Having fun in the sun!
